Dimension 3 2012 launches the S3D content call campaign for the Festival. Dimension 3 is also pleased to announce the first S3D programs market!

Showcase of the new dimensions of images for 6 years, Dimension 3 offers a SD3 Festival, and for the first time a S3D Content Market…

In 2011, Dimension 3 Festival rewarded Pina 3D directed by Wim Wenders (stereographer Alain Derobe) as Grand Prize. Open to all the S3D formats, the 2012 competition starts now its call for entries. Participants can register their content until April 25th. The award ceremony scheduled on June 14th will gather 400 international professionals and the winning producers will receive a ‘Dimmy Award’ plus prizes. The nominated movies will be screened over 3 days in a S3D auditorium.

This year, the Forum will also offer the first S3D independent contents market. The 3D Market Place will allow distributors/ producers to register their program on the Market catalogue. Buyers will be able to consult the registered programs on demand in a dedicated area equipped with pods.
Distributors, producers and directors of 3D contents willing to take part to the Festival competition or to the Market need to register their S3D contents into one of these 8 categories:

• Feature Film (Live, action and animation)
• Short film
• TV program (one shot or series)
• Animation (one shot or series)
• Live acquisition
• Special Formats
• Advertisment – Corporate – Graphics – Video clip
• School films
