 Lord Scrummage has released their 3-D music video for “Lake Cheese” off of their upcoming and not-yet-titled album, dropping this summer. When Lord Scrummage released their debut album, From The Future, they were not exaggerating- witness below, one of the first 3-D music videos we’ve ever seen…have you ever seen a 3-D YouTube video? Director Jacob Hurwitz-Goodman and Giant Eel Productions are behind the video; this new 3-D film technology pushes some serious boundaries in the music video industry in addition a hauntingly eerie, yet charming video concept. Chris Handyside, of Metro Times, recently deemed Lord Scrummage,
 “…One of the most productive, dynamic and vibrant gangs of sound… this city has birthed in the last few years.”It isn’t hard to argue his point– try to imagine thin sheets of psychedelic sound punctured by heavy thumping techno and hip-hop influenced beats. Then add chunky acid basslines and the spooky R&B vocalists stoney stream of consciousness– lyrics from some distant corner of space– and you might begin to imagine the sound of Lord Scrummage. PLAYGROUND DETROIT wanted to know more about how the Lords of Scrummage pulled this one off, so we asked the guys themselves about the video.
