The University of California has a marine science campus right on the coast in Santa Cruz, California. Located on that campus are several facilities, including the Long Marine Lab and the Seymour Discovery Center which is open to the public. Outside of the Seymour center are some interesting items, including metal life-size sculptures of an elephant seal bull, his cow, and their pup. Also there are 2 actual whale skeletons mounted on posts in their natural configuration. This video shows those things and then walks to the nearby coastal bluff cliff and looks along the rocky coast with waves hitting the shore on a windy day.
