Stereoscopic Multiplexer 0.7.0

Stereoscopic Multiplexer is a Windows driver that allows you to capture stereo­scopic video from two separate cameras. It combines video data from DV camcorders, Firewire or USB webcams and most other capture hardware to a single stream in side-by-side format. It can be used within Stereo­scopic Player as well as third party video software that supports WDM capture devices, for example Windows Media Encoder. Recording in AVI format is possible within the Stereoscopic Multiplexer user interface. MORE....

Important: Stereoscopic Player requires a third party decoder for 3D-DVD playback. Click here for more information on 3D-DVD playback. If you are experiencing problems while installing Stereoscopic Player or Stereoscopic Multiplexer, please update the Microsoft Installer.

JPEG2000 Video Decoder

The JPEG2000 Video Decoder is a DirectShow filter that can be used in all DirectShow-based applications. The JPEG2000 has been adopted by the Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) as the only video codec for Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs).

The JPEG2000 decoder offers RGB32 as preferred output format on its output pin. If the JPEG2000 video stream uses a YUV color spacespace, it performs a dynamic format change before delivering the first frame. If the downstream filter does not accept the format change, the decoder converts from YUV to RGB.

The decoder exposes the following options on its property page. These options can also be set programmatically using the IGeneralProperties configuration interface. In the current version, the decoder does not store the options.

Bino is a video player with the following main features:

• Support for stereoscopic 3D video, with a wide variety of input and output formats.
• Support for multi-display video, e.g. for powerwalls, Virtual Reality installations and other multi-projector setups.

Bino currently works on GNU/Linux systems, Mac OS X, and Windows. It uses the following libraries:

• FFmpeg to decode video and audio files. Note that you need a very recent version (0.6.90-rc0 or later).
• LibASS to render subtitles.
• OpenAL (on GNU/Linux: OpenAL Soft) for audio output.
• OpenGL (with Glew) for video output. Hardware accelerated OpenGL 2.1 with framebuffer objects is required.
  Note that proprietary drivers are not required! Recent Linux kernel + Mesa + X.org versions should work fine.
• Qt for the user interface and video window.
• Optionally Equalizer for multi-display support.

Bino is free software, licensed under the terms of the GNU GPL version 3 or later.
