Manual installation

1) Create a place

Create a directory AnaBuilder on your disk. For example, under windows :
C:/Program Files/AnaBuilder

In the following explanations, this directory will be named [AnaBuilder]

2) Installation or update of the 2.X.X Multi-Platform version

Download and install once and for all:

• Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for your machine: click on "Get it now" button on that page http://java.sun.com/getjava . For the Mac users, Apple does not deliver the last Java2 version for system 8 and 9, only the users of system X profit from it: it should normally be installed with the system, it thus does not need something to do.

Download the Java archive anabuilderJava.zip (1360K).
Uncompress the file anabuilderJava.zip in the directory [AnaBuilder].
Double click on the launcher AnaBuilder.batunder Windows, runMacOsX.command under Mac Os X. Under Unix / Linux, open a terminal, do cd commands to go to the directory [AnaBuilder] and enter the command sh runUnixLinux.sh.

3) Installation or update of the documentation and optional features

Launch AnaBuilder and use "AutoUpdate" menu.

You can also try the older Windows-only version

Installation (Version 1.X.X Windows)

Excepted for those who want to use the function of stereomorphing that is not already been rewrited in the Java version, I strongly recommend to install the Java version, more efficient and offering new enhanced functions..

Download the archive files containing the executable anabuilderExe-1-16-1.zip (500K).
Uncompress the executable file in the directory anabuilder you have obtained during the documentation installation (important so that the software finds the help files).
Double click on the AnaBuilder.exe program.

COMPLETE: AnaBuilder + Doc + Optional extensions + Java Virtual Machine : 21 Mo
